We put together this guide to help you learn all you need to know about camping in Quechee State Park!

QUECHEE STATE PARK CAMPGROUND: OVERVIEW

Quechee State Park has one campground, which takes up a good portion of the park.  In fact, most people that come to the park come for one of two things-they amazing views of the gorge, and camping!

The campground has plenty of spacious sites, and most are nestled in trees.  None of the sites have views, and all are fairly private with fire rings and picnic tables.

The campground also has a large field for playing, super well kept facilities, a place for picnicking in general and access to plenty of hiking trails.

In addition to camping for tents and RV’s, there are also seven lean-tos and six cabins that are available.

This is a pretty popular campground, so be sure you get reservations well in advance.  Of course you can always check for last minute cancelations, but when the campground is open the spots tend to fill up pretty well in advance.

QUECHEE STATE PARK CAMPING SUPPLIES

There isn’t a store in the park to get supplies (other than firewood at check-in), but not to worry as facilities are close by to get any needs you may have.  Groceries can be picked up in the town of Hartford, VT just a few miles to the northeast.  Options here are fairly limited, so go get access to lower cost groceries or big box stores for camping supplies, head east to West Lebanon, NH (about 12 minutes away).
